Devlog - New HUD, Less Bugs, More Tactics


Hey survivors,

Today’s update introduces game-changing mechanics, a menacing new foe, and exciting updates to player customization. Here’s what’s new:

New Features and Changes


  • HUD Improvements: Revamped HUD icons for better clarity, and the reload bar is now positioned under the player for improved visibility during combat.

  • Bug Fixes: Resolved issues with restarting levels to ensure a smoother experience.
  • Dark Slenders: A new enemy that attacks players with dark magic—watch out for these shadowy threats!

  • Damage Type System: Introducing resistances and vulnerabilities based on enemy type. For example, Drones might resist fire but are vulnerable to lightning. Strategize your loadout to exploit these weaknesses!
  • Boot Abilities: Added special abilities tied to boots, including:
    • Frost or flame trails to damage enemies behind you.
    • Shocking nearby enemies or pushing them back.
    • All abilities consume energy, so use them wisely!
  • Player Progression System: Started work on a system that unlocks new types of player clones. Each clone will offer a unique gameplay experience!
