Devlog - Story Mode Update & MORE


Hey survivors,

Here’s what’s new in the world of Rust & Rage this week:

New Features and Updates

  • Save/Load Functionality: You can now save and load your progress in story mode!
  • Story Mode Development: Planet 1’s campaign is well under way. Stay tuned as the narrative unfolds.
  • New Tileset: Added a fresh snow planet tileset to expand the game’s environments.
  • Spider Cave Map: A creepy, atmospheric spider cave map is complete and ready for action.

New Enemies

  • Bipedal Mechoids: Mechanized foes that bring unique challenges.
  • Baby Spiders: Smaller but still deadly, these enemies will keep you on your toes.
  • Zombie Alternative: A fresh twist on the classic undead archetype.

Audio Updates

  • Footstep Sounds: Immersive new sound effects for player movement.

Improvements and Fixes

  • Bug Fixes: Damage now registers more consistently. Shields have been fine-tuned to better absorb attacks and convert damage to energy.

New Skills

  • Faster Reloading: Cut down your reload time and stay in the fight.
  • Additional Bullets: Increase your firepower with this skill upgrade.
